Product Questions
Is this brief only for pregnancy?
No. Pregnancy inspired the design, but the finished brief is made to work well beyond it.
Its high rise, full coverage and generous fit also make it a comfortable everyday option for anyone who prefers softer, roomier underwear with less restriction.
How does the fit compare with regular underwear?
It is cut more generously than many conventional briefs, particularly through the rise and front.
If you are not pregnant and prefer a closer fit, consider going down one size.
If you prefer a relaxed fit with more room, your usual size may be more suitable.
Is it suitable for fuller bodies?
Yes. The generous rise and full back coverage provide more room through the tummy and hips.
As every body is different, we recommend comparing the garment measurements with a pair you already find comfortable.
Is this shapewear?
No. The design is intentionally non-compressive. Its purpose is coverage, softness and everyday comfort rather than shaping or holding the body in.
Can I wear it postpartum?
Yes, if it feels comfortable for you.
My wife continued wearing the brief following her C-section and is still wearing it four months postpartum.
Recovery is individual, particularly after surgery, so always follow your own comfort and medical advice.
Does the waistband contain elastic?
Yes. We use elastane only in the waistband where it is needed for functionality.
The waistband is stitched to the outside of the brief to reduce skin rubbing.
Why is the cotton undyed?
We wanted to keep the fabric as close to its natural state as practical.
Leaving the cotton undyed gives it its natural ecru tone and avoids adding colour simply for appearance.
All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat and unstretched (cm). As each piece is soft knitted fabric and measuring methods can differ, the figures in this table may vary from the actual garment by 0.5–1 cm.
| Flat (cm) | XS | S | M | L | XL | 2XL |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Waist width | 33 | 35 | 37 | 39 | 41 | 42 |
| Hip width | 35 | 37 | 39 | 41 | 43 | 45 |
| Leg opening | 25 | 26.5 | 28 | 29.5 | 31 | 32.5 |
The brief is high-rise and designed to sit over the bump rather than under it. The body fabric is a 1×1 rib knit with natural stretch, so it moves with a changing shape.
